Neglected and obtuse
Cast away
Thrown into pits
Concrete hits
And shattered bits
Unseen they lay
Like glass shards they rip
Through the very tips
Of souls and wait
To seed their pain
In another day

In a grim expression
The mindless
That binds this
Phrase do not foresee
The cruel fist
Of Fate in bliss
Waits to leak
For them to bleed
Sorrow to seethe
With misery
To linger and stay
Despite their prayers
Despite the praise
Their friends their family
Held through the days

And the solid mind state
Which now will fade
Of ideals and bullshit
Is torn by rain
And that pain
Remains
To this very day
An enigma
Sworn to secrecy
Born of heresy
First three words
Of the six word story
That tells the world
Through its deceit
The first three words
Of every story

That ends with teeth
Ground
Hearts that pound
Now broken
Never found
The simple token
A symbol now
Of love that was
Or whatever that was
Now gone again
Forever again
The light is off
Its dark again
Now they know
How the story ends
The fools that spew
The fools that heard
But secretly knew...
